Overview

This disclaimer outlines the terms and conditions applicable to all participants attending our workshops, training sessions, and educational events.

Class Size and Enrollment

  • Standard Class Capacity: Classes are limited to 10-12 participants unless otherwise stated in the specific workshop description

  • Minimum Enrollment Requirement: A minimum of 5 students is required for a class to run

  • Class Confirmation: Registered participants will be notified if a class does not meet minimum enrollment requirements

Age and Eligibility Requirements

Participants must be at least 14 years of age to attend workshops unless otherwise stated. This age requirement is in place due to the use of sharp tools and other equipment that require maturity and responsibility to operate safely.

Acknowledgment of Risk

By registering for and attending this workshop, participants acknowledge and assume all inherent risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to:

  • Physical activities or exercises

  • Use of equipment and facilities, including sharp tools

  • Travel to and from the venue

  • Interaction with other participants and instructors

Liability Waiver

Participants agree that workshop organizers, instructors, facilities, sponsors, and affiliated organizations are not liable for:

  • Personal injuries or death

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property

  • Emotional distress or psychological impacts

  • Any indirect or consequential damages

  • Illness or disease transmission

Personal Responsibility

Workshop attendees are responsible for:

  • Monitoring their own physical and mental condition

  • Adhering to safety instructions and guidelines

  • Using equipment properly and only as directed

  • Maintaining appropriate behavior and conduct

  • Reporting hazards or unsafe conditions immediately

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only available if a workshop class does not meet the minimum enrollment requirement of 5 students. In such cases, registered participants will be notified and offered:

  • A full refund of registration fees, OR

  • The option to transfer to another scheduled workshop

Non-Refundable Circumstances

No refunds, credits, or transfers are provided if you register but are unable to attend for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Personal schedule conflicts

  • Illness or injury

  • Emergency or family matters

  • Change of mind or loss of interest

Once you register, your registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable by the workshop organizer.

Ticket Transfer Policy

Similar to concert tickets, you have the option to give or sell your workshop spot to someone else. However, this is entirely at your discretion:

  • You may transfer your spot to another individual by providing their information to organizers

  • You may sell your registration to another person

  • The original registration fee is non-returnable to you under any circumstances

The workshop organizers do not facilitate or guarantee the resale or transfer of spots.

Photography and Recording

Unless otherwise specified, attendees may be photographed or recorded during the workshop. By attending, you consent to the use of your image for promotional purposes unless you notify organizers in writing.

Intellectual Property

All workshop materials, including presentations, handouts, and recordings, remain the intellectual property of the organizers and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without permission.

Code of Conduct

Participants agree to maintain professional and respectful behavior. The organizers reserve the right to remove attendees who:

  • Engage in harassment or discrimination

  • Disrupt the workshop environment

  • Violate facility rules or local laws

  • Behave in an unsafe or threatening manner

  • Fail to comply with age requirements or safety protocols

Assumption of Liability

Participants voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the workshop organizers, instructors, venue, and sponsors from any and all claims, damages, or legal actions arising from attendance.

Modification of Terms

Workshop organizers reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule events. If a class does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, registered participants will be notified and offered refunds or transfers. No liability will be incurred for such cancellations.
